Let’s face it, in the UK we spend a lot of time in the dark! Its only for a few months in the height of summer that we don’t need to turn the lights on.

That’s why lighting is fundamental to interior design in our homes. Our lighting choices don’t just need to look good, they need to work well too so we can see adequately and move around safely.

That’s why we’re so pleased to be able to present our lighting collection, which we’ve chosen carefully to appropriately light up every room in your home. You’ll find we’ve covered the three basic lighting types:

• Ambient lighting – necessary in every room to provide the primary  illumination, usually created by using overhead fixtures with a low to medium lumen level.
• Task lighting – needed to help you carry out tasks, like cooking, reading or applying your make up. For instance, under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, bedside or desk lamps, or vanity unit lighting.
• Accent lighting – to decoratively draw attention to a room’s highlights or focal point. It’s mainly decorative so you can enjoy a statement chandelier or opt for a fashionable industrial-style pendant light.
